About

Normaan Moza

A self-confessed hopeless romantic, Normaan wrote From Telegram with Love as both a tribute to that vanishing world and a love letter to everyone who has ever waited — for a message, for a reunion, for the person they couldn’t stop thinking about.

Each chapter has a piece of my soul, a piece of me — unselfishly transcribed.

My love for storytelling was born in the quietest of moments — watching my grandmother write letters.

As a child, i would sit and observe her, pen moving carefully across paper, sending pieces of herself to parents, siblings, and friends scattered across the world. No email. No phone call. Just words, chosen with care, sealed with hope, and trusted to the postal service to carry across vast distances.

That image never left me.

In an age where we can reach anyone on earth in seconds, I found myself drawn back to a time when communication was precious — when a single telegram, a few words tapped across a wire, could be enough to keep a heart warm across an ocean. When to receive a letter from the one you loved was not an inconvenience but a miracle.

That world is gone. But its stories remain.
